Robinson is 1-7 against Teutopolis since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Maroons will face off against the Wooden Shoes at 4:30 p.m. Robinson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Robinson is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Marshall.

Robinson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Hardiman, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Teutopolis entered their tilt with Salem on Saturday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Wooden Shoes have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Teutopolis pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Robinson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Robinson might still be hurting after the 14-1 defeat they got from Teutopolis in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Can the Maroons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
