While losing is never fun, Mount Pisgah Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while St. Francis is ranked fourth).
St. Francis' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Giaunni Rogers led the charge by going 9 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 33 points and 7 assists. The match was Rogers' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Camryn Golston, who scored 25 points along with 6 assists and 3 blocks.
Mount Pisgah Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for St. Francis, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Mount Pisgah Christian will head out on the road to face off against Paideia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Francis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Atlanta International at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
