The Kennedy Eagles won the last time they faced the Derby Red Raiders, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Kennedy secured a 51-47 W over Derby. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kennedy.
Among those leading the charge was Terrance Morrison, who scored 23 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Aaron Sheehan, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Kennedy's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Derby, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Kennedy will head out on the road to face off against Wilby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Derby won't have much time to rest: their next game is against East Haven at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th.
