This season hasn't been kind to the Langford Lions, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They were outmatched by Lyman on the road and fell 63-31. Langford lost against Lyman in their previous head to head back in February of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 49-42 score last time.
Dylan Harmon and Jake Samson certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Harmon scored six points along with ten rebounds, while Samson scored nine points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Samson has scored all season.
Even though they lost, Langford were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Langford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lyman, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Langford will take on Redfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Redfield is on a three-game streak of home losses, Langford a seven-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. As for Lyman, they will head out on the road to face off against Gregory at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
