Reedy lost against Argyle back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mariah Akinsola paced Reedy's offense, picking up five kills. Akinsola were helped by Paige Hawkinson and Karina Crowder, who contributed eight assists each. Finally, Ciara Williams kept Reedy's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Reedy's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Argyle, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Reedy has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Vista Ridge on the 23rd. As for Argyle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Waxahachie on the 23rd.
