Northern Durham is 0-10 against Jordan since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Northern Durham Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Jordan Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Northern Durham has now lost 16 straight, leaving the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
Last Friday, Northern Durham took a serious blow against Chapel Hill, falling 81-13. While losing is never fun, Northern Durham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 540th, while Chapel Hill is ranked 50th).
Meanwhile, Jordan was able to grind out a solid victory over East Chapel Hill on Tuesday, taking the game 49-41. The win was just what Jordan needed coming off of a 52-19 loss in their prior contest.
Northern Durham's loss was their tenth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.2 points per game. As for Jordan, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.
Northern Durham took a serious blow against Jordan in their previous meeting back in January, falling 63-18. Can Northern Durham avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
