Meanwhile, Omro came up short against Mayville on Thursday and fell 3-1.
While Omro ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 24-26, 25-17.
Freedom has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
