Kentlake were out to avenge their 6-28 defeat to Hazen from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Kentlake have to be aching after a bruising 6-27 defeat to Hazen on Friday. The state rankings had actually given Kentlake a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The loss dropped Kentlake's record to 4-3. The victory bumped Hazen's record up to 4-2.
Next week Kentlake take on Auburn Mountainview at 7:00 PM. These teams are both seeking redemption after dropping matches that they were favored to win. As for Hazen, they will face off against Federal Way. Federal Way have averaged 40.2 points over the course of their past three games, so Hazen might be in for a challenge.
