Noble & Greenough lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Brooks, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's matchup. The Bulldogs never let Brooks get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Wednesday. That seven run margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Cole Henebry looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Noble & Greenough let Oscar Parkinson and Emilio Manz run wild. Parkinson went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double, while Manz got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Parkinson has brought in this season. Mac Bianchi was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Noble & Greenough and bumps their season record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Brooks, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Noble & Greenough will face off against Pingree at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brooks, they will host Lawrence Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
