Dane Johnson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Freeburg's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 12-13 when he doesn't).
