Erik New Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Maxwell was led to victory by Erik New, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. New rushed for 298 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 111 receiving yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (123.6) per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 83 yards.

Big Game from Strong As Hamilton Won 59-7
Hamilton picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kayden Strong. Strong was unstoppable, throwing for 174 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes, while also rushing for 46 yards and two touchdowns.
Strong and Hamilton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Maxwell at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st. Cesar Leal's big game helped extend Hamilton's winning streak to seven on Friday. Williams had no answer to Leal as he picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown.
