Superior waltzed into their game on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 15-8 margin over the Ray Bearcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-4 back in March.
Lessenia Ramirez made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up five earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. Superior was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ray only posted a batting average of .250.
Superior pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Ray, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.
