Basketball Recap: Tyson Clay Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat North Ridgeville

Berea-Midpark won the last time they faced North Ridgeville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Berea-Midpark Titans walked away with an 88-81 victory over the North Ridgeville Rangers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Berea-Midpark's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyson Clay led the charge by going 11 of 21 on his way to 26 points. Clay's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Reece, who almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine rebounds.

Berea-Midpark's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for North Ridgeville, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Berea-Midpark will head out to square off against Olmsted Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Berea-Midpark's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for North Ridgeville, they will host Avon Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Ridgeville is facing Avon Lake at the right time seeing as Avon Lake is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
