After only 12 points in their last game, Loch Raven made sure to put some points up on the board against Patapsco on Friday. Loch Raven took their game at home with ease, bagging a 44-6 victory over Patapsco. The result was nothing new for Loch Raven, who have now won four matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.
Loch Raven's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keyon Fauntleroy, who rushed for 68 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 188 yards and a touchdown on only 15 passes. Craig Jordan was in the mix too, providing Loch Raven with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Pikesville's 14-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lansdowne and snuck past 16-14.
Loch Raven's win on Friday bumped their record up to 5-2. Finally capturing their first victory of the season, Pikesville advanced to 1-6.
Everything came up roses for Loch Raven against Pikesville when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 50-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Loch Raven since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
