They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-56 heartbreaker at the hands of Fort Wayne Snider. The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ayle Taylor, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 18 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dereon Truesdale, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.
Even though they lost, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Huntington North didn't have quite enough to beat Fort Wayne South Side on Saturday and fell 64-62. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (60), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

Another player making a difference was Blaine Freiburger, who posted six points and five steals.
