The Chatham Cavaliers were the  72-71 winner over the William Campbell Generals when they last played one another  back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Chatham took a   68-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 When it comes to explaining why Chatham lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is  Jonavan Coles. Despite the final result, he  dropped  a double-double on 30 points and 13  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Antonio Luck, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and 12  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Chatham  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 22  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Chatham's loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 7-10. As for William Campbell, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.
 Chatham will be playing at home against the Raiders at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Virginia (Appomattox County is ranked 283rd, while the Cavaliers are ranked 265th). As for William Campbell, they will head out on the road to  square off against  the Golden Eagles at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
