The Meadows School Mustangs came into Wednesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 49-35. The win was just what The Meadows School needed coming off of a 51-28 defeat in their prior match.
Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jiselle Garin, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Garin continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Troutner, who scored six points.
The Meadows School's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
The Meadows School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon also has no future games currently scheduled.
