Hatton was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Bryson Jeffreys did his best to prevent it. Jeffreys made a splash, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. He was up against Brooks and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them last Wednesday. Hatton is 8-2 when Jeffreys posts two or more runs, but 2-5 otherwise.

Even though Jeffreys couldn't lead Hatton over Brooks, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Jeffreys' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Hatton's four-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Jeffreys and Hatton surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
