The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack will head out to take on the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers on Tuesday.
Tri County Northeast managed to slip by Pender the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolfpack came up short against the Pendragons on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolfpack have suffered since October 29, 2024.
The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Tri County Northeast had strong showings from Kiya Tornez, who had 14 digs and two assists, and Joslyn Mackling, who had 16 digs, 13 kills, and three aces. Mackling is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bancroft-Rosalie, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Wakefield 3-0 on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Bancroft-Rosalie never let Wakefield on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 25-21.
Bancroft-Rosalie's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Tri County Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.
Tri County Northeast skirted past Bancroft-Rosalie 2-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolfpack since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
