There's no place like home for the Marian Crusaders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Gretna East by a score of 52-42 on Thursday.
Mckenna Stover was her usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Elsa Vedral, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Marian's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Gretna East, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Marian will be home for the holidays to greet Papillion-LaVista at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. Gretna East will take on Lewis Central in a holiday battle at TBD on Saturday at.
