After three games on the road, Tri-Village is heading back home. They will take on the National Trail Blazers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Tri-Village is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than National Trail in Ohio (Tri-Village is ranked 144th, while National Trail is ranked 711th).
Last Sunday, Tri-Village earned a 52-40 win over Marion Local. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Tri-Village has scored all season.
National Trail suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Arcanum by a score of 56-54. National Trail has struggled against Arcanum recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Tri-Village's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for National Trail, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
Everything came up roses for Tri-Village against National Trail when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 62-22 win. Does Tri-Village have another victory up their sleeve, or will National Trail turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
