Jubilee Lake View University Prep is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 64-60 to Valor South Austin on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in September (45), Jubilee Lake View University Prep still had to take the loss.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Richard Benitez, who rushed for 192 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 53 receiving yards and one score. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making nine total tackles and defending two passes. Damien Duarte was another key pass catcher, picking up 80 receiving yards and four TDs.

Jubilee Lake View University Prep's defensive line also made the game a nightmare for Indy Noble, racking up eight sacks. Elijah Bien-Aime led the group effort, picking up three of those sacks all by himself. Jacob Cruz also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight. Jubilee Lake View University Prep received some extra help from Cruz, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Jubilee Brownsville waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Polar Bears, posting a 42-6 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Titans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Polar Bears are ranked 914th).
