The Auburn Adventist Falcons stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Varsity Opponent, posting a 82-43 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Auburn Adventist has posted since December 14, 2023.
Zachary Ellis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 71 rebounds. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was John-Andrew Dubreuil, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Auburn Adventist pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 265-1013-2.
Auburn Adventist will play host again and welcome Northwest Yeshiva, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Varsity Opponent won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cumberland Christian Home Educators on January 18th.
