The Grace Christian Academy Rams will head out to challenge the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.
Grace Christian Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Halls, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rams fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooke Million was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Ava Malone made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. Hannah Hodges also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Meanwhile, Christian Academy of Knoxville got the win against William Blount on Wednesday by a conclusive 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Ella Borbeck and Emily Bogoski made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Borbeck pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Bogoski pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. At bat, Borbeck went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Bogoski went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Borbeck has posted over her last seven matches.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gracie Kringen, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Halle Bedwell was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Christian Academy of Knoxville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as William Blount only posted a batting average of .174.
Christian Academy of Knoxville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Grace Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Grace Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .390. However, it's not like Christian Academy of Knoxville struggles in that department as they've averaged .455. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
