Poynette waltzed into their game on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Westfield Area Pioneers get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Pumas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Poynette's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Westfield Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Poynette will be playing in front of their home fans against Lodi at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westfield Area, they will head out to challenge Nekoosa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
