Monday just wasn't the day for Gibson Southern's offense. They fell just short of the Jasper Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Brogan McClellan was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Gibson Southern's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Jasper, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.
