It was a good run, but Alma unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Garber Dukes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dukes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on October 1st.

Alma's defeat dropped their record down to 33-9-1. As for Garber, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 37-9-2 record this season.

Alma wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Freeland on the 22nd. As for Garber, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Swan Valley on the 22nd.
