Last Monday, Boys Latin didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Calvert Hall, but they still walked away with a 61-56 victory.
Meanwhile, St. Frances Academy came tearing into Saturday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 61-57 win over Camden.
Boys Latin's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for St. Frances Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.
Boys Latin was dealt a bruising 66-37 defeat at the hands of St. Frances Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Boys Latin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
