After two games on the road, South Knox is heading back home. They will take on the Barr-Reeve Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Knox will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Barr-Reeve is ranked 79th).
Last Thursday, South Knox was beaten by Evansville North 65-30.
Meanwhile, Barr-Reeve strolled past Northeast Dubois with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 62-47.
South Knox has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Barr-Reeve, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2.
South Knox didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Barr-Reeve in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 49-43 victory. Does South Knox have another victory up their sleeve, or will Barr-Reeve turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
