Rankin came into Tuesday's matchup having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys 55-26 on Tuesday. The Red Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Cowboys players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Vasquez, who posted seven points. Another player making a difference was Alex Graham, who earned seven points.

Rankin's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Grandfalls-Royalty, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Buena Vista the next time they take the court. Rankin will head out to face Buena Vista at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st, while Grandfalls-Royalty will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
