Having struggled with 18  losses in a row, Woodburn  turned things around against McKay  on Monday. They blew past the Royal Scots 10-2. The Bulldogs' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.
 Mason Pickett was a  major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Pickett was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news,  Damien Vasquez and  Trevon Grassham did most of the damage at the plate:  Vasquez  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI, while  Grassham  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  Vasquez has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Asa Cash, who  went 1-for-2 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Woodburn's  win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-16 and their overall record up to 3-21. As for McKay, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-23.
