Nemaha Central lost to Royal Valley on Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Thunder walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Thunder as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Nemaha Central never let Royal Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23.

Nemaha Central's offense was headlined by Nola Sudbeck and Macy Holthaus, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Kennedy Carlson and her 16 assists.

Nemaha Central's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Royal Valley, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nemaha Central is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Marys on Monday. Meanwhile, Royal Valley will take on rival Rossville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
