Basketball Recap: Southwest Virginia Academy Piles Up the Points Against Varsity Opponent

Southwest Virginia Academy entered their tilt with Varsity Opponent on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They really took it to Varsity Opponent for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-27 win. The Conquerors pushed the score to 50-16 by the end of the third, a deficit Varsity Opponent cut but never quite recovered from.

Southwest Virginia Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabriel Bishop out in front who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Bishop, who earned 11 points.
