The Jefferson West Tigers had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Osawatomie 59-6 on the road. The win was just what Jefferson West needed coming off of a 61-7 defeat in their prior matchup.
Tucker Holthaus was on fire: he rushed for 40 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes. Brodie Boyer also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Jefferson West's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Osawatomie, their defeat was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
