Despite their loss, Shanksville Stonycreek saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Christian Musser, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Musser is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Grant Boozer was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
Salisbury Elk Lick is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Shanksville Stonycreek, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Keep an eye on the arc in Thursday's contest: Salisbury Elk Lick have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 4.9 threes per game. It's a different story for Shanksville Stonycreek, though, as they've been averaging only 5.5 threes per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
