It was a good run, but The Winnebago Indians unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 28-13 bruising from Todd County. Winnebago has struggled against Todd County recently, as their contest on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Todd County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ty Valandra out in front who rushed for 156 yards. Valandra hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for nine straight games. Todd County also got a significant boost from Drake Espinoza, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 83 yards.
Todd County's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Winnebago's QB won't forget Espinoza anytime soon given Espinoza sacked him four times.
Winnebago's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Todd County, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
