Memorial was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against New Knoxville on Tuesday. Everything went the Memorial Roughriders' way against the New Knoxville Rangers as the Memorial Roughriders made off with a 55-35 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Roughriders have posted since January 25, 2024.

Several Rangers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addi Albers, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 18 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiera Wellman, who posted six points.

Memorial moved to 4-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for New Knoxville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memorial will head out to challenge Van Wert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Memorial is facing Van Wert at the right time seeing as Van Wert is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for New Knoxville, they will head out on the road to take on Versailles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Versailles has six straight wins, New Knoxville has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
