Faith Baptist proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by seven) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the More Academy Crusaders by a goal, winning 2-1. The win was familiar territory for Faith Baptist, who have now won three contests in a row.

Alyssa Ahrens was the driving force of Faith Baptist's attack as she scored both of Faith Baptist's goals, bringing her season total up to 14 goals.

Faith Baptist's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matches. As for More Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
