Palmer had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered West Bolivar 38-0. West Bolivar can consider this payback for the 14-20 loss they dealt Palmer the last time the teams encountered one another. This was the first game for both teams, giving Palmer a 1-0 record and starting West Bolivar off at 0-1.
Next week, Palmer take on Holmes County Central at 7:00 PM. As for West Bolivar, they will face of against Brooks.
