After losing to the Frankford Pioneers the last time they met, Boys' Latin Charter decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Boys' Latin Charter came out on top against Frankford by a score of 48-40 on Thursday. That eight points margin sets a new team best for Boys' Latin Charter this season.
Frankford lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Laquan Harrison, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harrison has scored all season. Doron Ross was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Frankford struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Boys' Latin Charter's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Frankford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boys' Latin Charter will square off against Simon Gratz at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankford, they will head out on the road to take on Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
