The Goldendale Timberwolves will be playing at home against the Brewster Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Goldendale will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Goldendale stacked a eighth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 40-0 victory over Columbia.
Meanwhile, Brewster won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Reardan 14-13. The win was just what Brewster needed coming off of a 54-0 defeat in their prior matchup.
The critical scores for Brewster came from Cort Gebbers and Mario Camacho.
Goldendale pushed their record up to 9-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-6 White Swan and 3-6 Granger (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 36.8% over those games). As for Brewster, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
