Dixon strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past the Ottawa Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 37-19. Those 37 points were actually the fewest the Dukes & Duchesses have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Dixon's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Ottawa, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Dixon will take on Oswego at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ottawa, they will head out to square off against Kaneland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Pirates their first taste of in-conference action this season.
