Landon Stanley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 15 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Colton Trimble, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Rylan Stanley was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
New Site always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .588 or higher in three consecutive games.

Mantachie is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. New Site's record now sits at 12-6.
New Site came up short against Mantachie in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 8-5. Can New Site avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
