Even though the O'Bannon Greenwaves scored an imposing 65 points on Tuesday, the South Delta Bulldogs still came out on top. South Delta walked away with a 73-65 victory over O'Bannon. The win was nothing new for South Delta as they're now sitting on three straight.
Jamichael Green was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The match was his eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amarion Sanders, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
South Delta's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for O'Bannon, they bumped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Delta won't have much time to rest: their next game is against J.Z. George at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. J.Z. George is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. O'Bannon will be home for the holidays to greet Amanda Elzy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
