Oak Park has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Fort Osage Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Oak Park is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fort Osage in Missouri (Oak Park is ranked 97th, while Fort Osage is ranked 279th).
Last Saturday, Oak Park came up short against Smithville and fell 52-44. Oak Park has not had much luck with Smithville recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Fort Osage also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Kearney by a score of 56-44. That's two games in a row now that Fort Osage has lost by exactly 12 points.
Oak Park's record now sits at 9-5. As for Fort Osage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
Oak Park might still be hurting after the 58-36 loss they got from Fort Osage when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Oak Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
