Big Game from Medina As Cotulla Won 40-8
Starting off the list is Cotulla's Alex Medina, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Medina rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt. He has become a key player for Cotulla: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Garet Gonzales put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
