The Carver A&T Wildcats will venture away from home to  square off against the Overlea Falcons  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Carver A&T is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1  runs per game  this season.
Having struggled with four  losses in a row, Carver A&T  turned things around against Owings Mills  on Saturday. They blew past the Golden Eagles 22-8. Considering the Wildcats have won four contests by more than seven  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Benjamin Arneklev made a splash no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games he's  played.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Trevor Schnirel, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs. He has become a key player for Carver A&T: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  three  RBI, but 1-6 otherwise.  Landen Gendimenico was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Carver A&T  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .690. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, Overlea lost  38-4 to Catonsville on Saturday. The Falcons have struggled against the Comets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
 Carver A&T's record now sits at 4-6. As for Overlea, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
 Carver A&T took their  victory against Overlea  in their previous meeting  on April 1st by a conclusive  13-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
