Monona Grove was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Reedsburg. The Silver Eagles came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 33 last week.
Monona Grove extended the longest winning streak in Badger - South this week by beating the Beavers, 28-7. The win marks ninth in a row for the Mike Stassi's team.
The Silver Eagles' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brett Percy threw for 105 and one touchdown and Evan Oldenburg had 54 yards receiving. On the ground Percy chipped in 110 yards. James Conner helped Monona Grove's passing attack out by catching two balls for 35 yards.
Monona Grove's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Silver Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Percy has thrown for 1396 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Conner has 19 catches for 511 yards. Conner leads the league in rushing with 824 yards.
Monona Grove took down Reedsburg 28-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Percy in the win.
