Start and Northview squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Start had to settle for second. They fell 6-1 to the Wildcats. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Start's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Northview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Start does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northview, they will take on Anthony Wayne at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
