South Sevier came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Enterprise Wolves get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Considering the Rams have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kloe Donohue made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Kinsey Parsons was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Caitlin Nielson was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
South Sevier hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in eight consecutive contests.
